Farm Stars

We started our farm with Skye as the center of attention. Highland Cows are not only the oldest registered breed in the world, they are known for their mild temperament and cutest calves! What you may not know is it is also one of the healthiest meats available. You may wonder why you can’t find their meat in your local store? It is really simple, they grow very slow which makes them unfavorable for commercial farmers. We don’t think time is our enemy but providing the most desirable beef certainly is!

Growing Herd

We continue to grow our “Fold" and now have Skye’s daughters helping her grow our farm. Though most of our cattle are Highland, we sometimes introduce other beef cattle to keep up with demand. In all instances we keep all of our breeds diet to Grass only.

Oreo and Esther

Oreo and her oldest daughter Esther joined us a few years ago and are the center of our pork production. We don’t farm out piglets but do all of our raising right here on the farm. That ensures their environment is free from outside virus’. All of our pork is at least 50% Berkshire and the flavor is hard to beat. Can you imagine cooking ground sausage and having almost NO grease? Experience all of our pork and we are confident you will never go back to that grocery store for it again.

Meet the Flock

Meet the Flock

We couldn’t have a farm without our Rhode Island Reds! They not only enjoy mingling with all the other animals, they provide fresh eggs to complete any recipe or breakfast. Our Chickens also rid the farm of many insects naturally.
