Berkshire Pork from the Fancy Farm Wife is an intensely flavorful, succulent meat. It is unlike any pork you've ever tried and yields to the fork. With rich flavor, it renders to a remarkable finish.
The remarkable flavor from "The World's Best Pork" doesn't happen by accident. Our pork is 100% bred and raised here on our Farm. Our Berkshire Pork is famous because of the care that is taken from the farm to the fork. Our sows spend 8 months of the year in the pasture, playing and enjoying life. We use boars from Shipley Genetics, one of the most well-known providers of boars of the highest quality from around the country.
Berkshire Pork is coveted for its tender bite, its flavor, and its succulent fats and juices, and is featured in some of the finest restaurants around the world.
Our only warning is we sometimes sell out quickly. You can’t just “make” quality pork, we plan a year in advance for some of our selections and sometimes livestock results do not always match our plans. We do our best to keep instock but sometimes demand out performs our vision.
What makes us different?
We are a small farm in central Ohio with a zest to provide Quality you will be hard pressed to find anywhere. We are proud of what we do and work directly with our processor to create something you will NOT often find. Many cuts of pork come from the “scraps” in the retail world. We decide on an individual hog basis, what we want to focus on. For example, if we are making brats, we have the butcher take all the hams and chops and add those in. Imagine having some of the most premium cuts combined with the perfect seasoning to take grilling to the next level. This will ensure you have a truly memoriable dining experience.
